In 2004, after several consultations with grocery Saguenay regarding waste management, the problem of throw away bags has proven to be one of major importance.
The ecolo-sacTM was born! It would therefore serve to reduce the use of conventional plastic bags.
Created by two environmental specialists, the ecolo-sac™ is a product that meets the principles of sustainable development. However, in order to raise the population’s awareness,
the ecolo-sacTM was conceived as a tool to convey a message of sustainable development. We chose both the private enterprise and para-public to be involved in this project, so they both can be part of the instigation of a mentality change.
